Why it is best to use quality paints

Painting is a very labour intensive trade the ratio of labour to materials is about 5 parts labour to 1 part material (more material for new work).

So spending more on best Quality paints is a no brainer for me.
Let's say on a $5000 internal repaint the paint cost for average quality paint might be $700, for ultra-Premium like Taubmans Endure Low sheen on the walls would push that price up about $200.
Hence for an interior repaint in average wall paint - $5000 for an interior repaint with possibly the best and most washable and advanced low sheens on the market $5200, I know which I would pick.

It's just not worth using inferior product. I am using Taubmans Endure for most work both inside & out it is the latest technology in paint backed by a parent company with many years of paint manufacturing overseas.
